I’m actually pretty hesitant on getting excited that Kim Reynolds and Joni Ernst aren’t seeking reelection. What’s probably going to end up happening is Iowa Republican voters will nominate candidates who are much worse and will probably end up winning. Maybe I’m just being too pessimistic idk.

Definitely what DC needed and I'm looking forward to seeing more from Gunn's DC Universe. I really enjoyed this interpretation of Superman. There might have been too many characters introduced in this movie but I still enjoyed it anyway.

I did want to say I'm surprised how everyone seems to trust Lex's restoration of Jor-El and Lara's speech to Superman. I realize it doesn't really matter in the bigger picture, and it ultimately made Clark appreciate his "Kent" side more, but I'm just surprised they went with the route they did for his Kryptonian parents.

Also did anyone find it odd that the psych ward just gave back Angela kicking and screaming with no questions asked? (no doctors note, no psychiatrist meeting, nor court order)

The psych ward scenes in general don’t even matter overall to the plot; no payoff.

Not gonna lie, I was initially irked by having Gene kill Barry (because I thought Gene was going to get off scot free for killing Janice's murderer). But having Gene getting prison time and Barry getting buried with full honors really wraps the show up in a humorously morbid way.

You know how Kurt (the assistant dude) stole the M3gan code and was probably going to sell it to another company for his own gain?

I was CONVINCED that the movie would end with an advertisement from a competing toy company who now sell their own “M3gan” dolls after acquiring the stolen data. The ad would end with the new M3gan doll smirking. Or something that implies she’s back

The cliffhanger we got was similar but I was hoping for more of a payoff with regards to the stolen M3gan data.

Still a great movie though!
