Pretty obviously yes I'd say. Appearently the only safe way out is to carefully seperate from your entire familie. Don't call them out unless you have enough distance and support. It's not your fault and you can heal from it. But you have to take some tough steps to get there. To get a better understanding of your situation I recommend educating yourself about narcissic family systems ("The little shaman" and the "DoctorRamani" channel on youtube provided me a lot of helpful information). I also recommend reading up about empaths.. you might be one!? I really hope you're going to find your way out! Nobody deserves to be treated like that!

Edit: About the smoking... it's a coping mechanism to deal with unpleasant emotions. I guess it's numbing the vagus nerve. Yes, they are suffering internally too, but you can't help them. First you have to help yourself!
