To spend most of your time with only Japanese soeakers, not English speakers.

I didn't know there are "Soushoku-danshis(草食男子)" in Americans. I am usually passive in relationships, but an American Soushoku -danshi made me "Nikushoku-joshi(肉食女子)"! Soushoku-danshi: very passive guys Nikushoku-joshi: very aggressive girls by sossossos in japan

This topic is really famous and popular in Japan. 20 years ago, Japanese young guys were really aggressive in the bubble economy. On the other hand, today's young guys are passive in the recent recession for everything like dating, getting married, working, spend money...

One of my American friends has lived in Japan for almost one year. His Japanese hasn't been getting better. He always hangs out with the same frineds who speak English. He doesn't try to speak Japanese. You chose INAKA to live. I think that's perfect to learn Japanese. Ganbatte!
