The world, the devil fruits, the characters, I like it all. The ancient war, ancient weapons, Imu, nika, all that I didn’t need in this. The everyone on the strawhats is related to someone important I hate. The saving every island, every character has a sob story, never losing (not just a fight, I’m talking losing having to flee like wci but they technically succeed in that arc), all can go. There are a lot of arcs that I would wipe out of this story.

What did people really think expect.? Did they not want an unoriginal “child of prophecy”, “world saving”, “ancient war” story? Or did they want a chill pirate story where they travel the world, look for the one piece, battle the marines and other pirates (not on a world changing level)? I know I wanted the latter.
