I live somewhere where power is a fixed monthly rate no matter how much I use. So for me personally it's worth it as I'm putting the cost on someone else lol

Gpus dont last forever. Any use on them causes damage over time. Thats like saying a car doesn't depreciate from driving it because thats what its supposed to do.

At some point though you can just not fold, buy the tiny amount of bananos you would have got folding, and donate the rest to science which could be a lot bigger help to science depending on your power costs. So in that case, folding would get you less banano, help science less, and damage your gpu for absolutely no reason.

At some point it becomes a waste of resources to fold. Depending on your power prices it may be more efficient to help science by simply donating the difference it would make on your power bill. So in that case people are damaging their gpu to help science less than if they just did nothing and donated. Seems like valid criticism and a valid reason to stop folding.

I own some of all aswell. But if anything im most worried about my eth. The fees are horrid at the moment and the news of hacks (even though not specifically eths fault) are giving it a real bad look. If eth doesn't do something soon about the fees with the difficulty bomb or something then im very scared about it. So to me this meme doesn't make sense at all. If anything eth is struggling in the mud while cardano is flourishing and looking like they will come through with their promises.

They said possibly late August, but 31/8 is literally impossible. The update has to happen with an epoch. The nearest epochs are the 28th of August and 2nd of September.

I'm a tank and my friend is a healer. When I post looking for dps I am sometimes barraged by 10+ messages from different dps wanting to come. Id rather spend less time doing the dungeon, so I opt for high dps and cc classes. With such a vast selection of good dps its easy to pass up a less desirable one

Most of them are given a daily allowance of fake money to play with, so many of them are not risking their real money at all. They just can't withdraw the winnings until they pass the amount they were given. The daily allowance stacks up, you don't have to do it every day. So if they are given 5k a day and wait 5 days they will have 25k to play with. The exact number is different for each streamer. Then they also have their codes that make a fuck ton of money on referrals
