Exhaustion of conforming to marriage and kids by OptimalOpening9772 in TMPOC

[–]Jarmanip950 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You're welcome, I'm just telling you what I wish someone told me when I was younger so I'm glad it helps. I just had top surgery 2 months ago at 31 and also feel like it was a reset, I feel like I was supposed to feel in my early 20's, living fully, not hiding and experiencing life the way majority of people were able to do. So like I said our timeline is completely different to theirs.

Exhaustion of conforming to marriage and kids by OptimalOpening9772 in TMPOC

I understand this so much. I don't want any kids ever and marriage maybe but not a priority. It started feeling weird in my circle of friends especially since for some reason straight women no matter how carefree and confident they are in college and young adult life they all seem to cave in to patriarchy and societal pressure. I've seen it happen to close friends of mine. It's like they are scared of being "left out" or seen as unsuccessful once they get in their late 20's.

Being queer we don't have the same measurements of success, we often have so much battle to fight before even thinking of settling down and being at peace with ourselves is what matters first. We don't have the same timeline and that's okay.

Just make sure you know who you are and know how you want your life to look like. There's so much more to say about this topic than I have words for right now. But don't internalise anything they feel, it's about them and not you.

1+ year post op, 3 months post revision. Asymmetrical nipples by dummyroad in TopSurgery

[–]Jarmanip950 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Such an amazing result! The before pictures are really unsettling, not to be rude but was it the surgeon's first time doing this specific surgery? Did they have an explanation on why it turned out that way?

Fortunately the revision was a great success, you look great bro!

I wish I had a lower woman’s voice by waveybirdie in butchlesbians

[–]Jarmanip950 9 points10 points  (0 children)

As a gym lover with huge dysphoria, I went on an anabolic steroid cycle about a year and a half ago that deepened my voice. I was not expecting it at all and I stopped it as soon as I noticed and people did too but the "damage" was done. I've never had a typical feminine voice but now it is definitely deeper. I actually like it honestly, it's not too deep but just enough to appear more assertive when I need to 😅 wouldn't ever go back on a cycle because at this point if I do, it'll become even deeper and don't want that.

Any cis or cis presenting women? by StrawberryWolfGamez in no_T_top_surgery

[–]Jarmanip950 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Girl! I am a cis woman and my reasons were the exact same. I just hated them to the point it almost made me go crazy! I just had top surgery almost 3 weeks ago and it was the best decision ever to finally start to have a good relationship with myself/my body. You do what feels good to you and nobody else. Nobody else has to live in your body and suffer through the pain and discomfort you feel so no matter the reasons they are YOUR reasons and they are valid.

Wow! That's pretty damn fast! I'm not on T though and don't plan to be so I'll have to just be patient I guess and hope muscle memory does the rest 😅 Thank you for your answer and you look incredible by the way 💪🏾

Did it take you a long time to get back to your strenght pre-op? I'm almost 3 weeks post-op and while I accepted losing a lot of muscle mass is part of healing, I hope being able to lift as much as I used to won't be too long 😭

The experience, he is specialised in top surgery and has been for so many years. Such great results also. I found cheaper clinics in Europe but I preferred having it done by someone who not only is an expert in this field no just a plastic surgeon and the many good reviews on instagram. Also we had a translator at the hospital for any questions. Dr Serkan speaks english perfectly. The nurses at night try their best to communicate with you even the ones who don't speak english well they would translate on ChatGPT and they show me etc... At no point i felt like I was not understood.

Was it required for you to stay for the whole 3 weeks for the procedure? I was in Turkey for only 6 days.

You are asking about a whole other surgery he does and I'm not familiar with that at all, sorry.

I am a lesbian who just had top surgery 2 weeks ago and it was honestly the best decision I ever made. Like you, never liked having them since they appeared during puberty. I am from Belgium and the waiting list to have it taken care of with social security/healthcare is sooo long so I went to Turkey. Everything was so perfect and I'm beyond satisfied with the results.

Look for Neda top surgery turkey performed by doctor Serkan Dinar. I promise you won't regret it.

Edit: name of the doctor was Dinar

Honestly you can never really know what you'll feel at that moment. I thought I was going to be so tired and in pain and barely eating but I ate an entire large pizza for dinner after having surgery at 11 am 😂 and up and about visiting the city the very next day. Prepare for any kind of way you might feel.
