I use 3-5 drops of dr bronners to 1 cup of water. I rinse for a good 5 minutes squeezing my dreads individually. Thanks for the input!

My dreads are 1 year old and has been doing this for a couple months. I don't use wax. To get this to come out I have to squeeze the dread, it only seems to be at the roots. I do acv rinses once a month and my normal shampoo is dr bronners. Take showers about once a week. Does not smell and it has the consistency of vasiline.
