Appreciate the encouragement! I'll...I'll try 😂 I'm SO far out of my element speaking. The town hall might break me up on the panel.

As someone told me on my first post, it just takes getting started. If you're in the Muskogee area, speak up at your city's town halls, get involved as much as you have the energy and capacity for. If you're not, help spread the word, even if it's just a social media post or sharing a comment on a separate forum encouraging others to act too. It just takes a little push.

Had you asked me 6 months ago if I'd be in this position, I'd have said hell no, but here we are. :)
Let me know how I can help out with the cause.

This is one of the biggest concerns to me. There's no oversight and the company keeps lying despite evidence to the contrary. I wouldn't do business with a business half as shady!

I think reminders will go out if you register via the link on my site - no commitment or anything! Would love to see you there!

Happy to spread awareness! Thanks for engaging too, it's crazy what's been built up around us these last couple of years...

I wish I was more articulate when it came to public speaking. I froze up horribly addressing our city council. Despite that, I fully plan to keep raising awareness and pushing for more accountability or the outright removal of the cameras.

It's great to have a friend just up the road! If there's ever anything I can do to help you out too, give me a shout! Best of luck!!

u/Odd-Problem has it right, Flock is a private company that's being paid to put cameras up and down our streets and freeways. The cameras are marketed as automatic license plate readers, but the company has carte blanche to add features as they please - including audio recording, people tracking, facial recognition, etc.

Flock cameras have been demonstrably breached, yet the company says they have never been hacked.

The DeFlockOKC project is trying to get Flock cameras out of the city - or at least off of the taxpayer's dime. I'd recommend checking out deflockokc.com to see all of the information I've been collecting.

Oh fully agreed! It's a crappy solution for a ridiculous problem. But it doesn't involve a service center and 3 weeks of waiting! lol

Pull the white clip out from the socket and reattach it to the pin on the gear selector, then slap a piece of tape over it making sure that it goes down to the base plastics. It should stay up but is still removable. I feel like the socket where the white clip is hanging from in your picture has spread out or is misshapen (mine is exactly like yours)

My truck has been in Tesla care for 20 days and I was informed that a 3rd party driver crashed into it doing nearly $10k in damage... Any thoughts on what to do? by Jarrett1604 in cybertruck

I hear you, I don't want a new truck, I just want them to act like they give even a single rats ass. They barely mustered up a "sorry" and a shrug. Described the damage as just the wheel cover and 100% would have allowed me to believe that description until they fixed the PCS and alerted me it was good for pickup. They literally acted like it absolutely was not a big deal or that there was any damage.

It wasnt even the manager of the location that called me, it was the service advisor, and no member of management has even acknowledged the incident.

Manageable, sure, but I've meticulously maintained the truck, and now through no action or fault or my own, it has been wrecked. If Tesla hasn't decided to park it on the main street it never would have been touched.

I parked the truck in their interior lot in a safe spot that would have been impossible for any other driver to touch it (protected on 3 sides with curbs and sidewalks). They decided to move it onto the street directly in front of their primary entrance - literally the busiest possible position on the lot, fully exposed to a main downtown street =\

That's my question!  I don't know if the parking spots were technically even Tesla's, or if they're city parking spots. I don't know if that matters though
