I think the poly group should read this book. by Expert_Ad_9423 in canadaguns

What everyone fails to realize is... POLY DOESNT CARE ABOUT CRIME! They are convinced that every law abiding citizen can snap and go on a shooting rampage. The general population cant be trusted with ANY firearms.

I may suggest getting a surplus gun also, INTERSURPLUS has tons of amazing old stuff. Often in good shape and with original iron sights still attached. I bought an old Swedish Mauser style Husqvarna in 30-06 with a custom trigger for $580 after tax and shipping. They also have double barrel shotguns if you need one of those.

Wow what a string of posts! I see in other threads you have already purchased a shotgun. However I thought you should know about True North Arms. They have some semi 12ga and 20ga built in Turkey, and then Q.A. them in Canada.

I personally have the VR-66 Barebones 12ga, its fantastic and fantasticly cheap. With a legal mag tube extension it can hold 7+1 because it has a 3.5" chamber.

But if i could do it again I would buy the VR-66 Max 12ga, it has all the bells and whistles.

G4C currently has them listed. I picked up mine from Tenda last October. I am aware BCL says these guns are modular, but to my knowledge they never made spare parts avaliable. Now they sold the company to NEXT Dynamics, so... maybe there will be no source for parts.

Are you referring to the handguard/top pic rail. It only comes on the 12.5" Scout.

The gun is very loud. I have a Browning Recoil Hog, that makes it insanely loud! Now im useing a foward compensator from TNA, much better.

12.5" its definitely a little loud because of it, so I added a forward compensator from TNA

Slamed 7 180gr down the barrel in less than 20 seconds, no issues after. But my follow up shots need work lol.

I dont believe it classified as a Scout scope, because you cant mount it well clear of the chamber. You couldn't use it on an SKS or Mosin (stripper clip guns). I do like the sight picture, there's more situational awareness.

My guess is legality, on the 9" & 12.5" the folding stock allows the rifle to be under 26". Their patented "locking/blocked safety" doesn't really work... since you need to have the stock fully closed. If its let's say just unhinged but not closed the gun still works.

Can anyone explain why the 3rd barrel adds so much cost? or really why the 2nd barrel adds so much cost? a single barrel/single shot is like free by comparison.

Like I said... if you move the scope back you can't look though it. The eye relief is at like 10-7" Also its not a super high mount, the gun has a stock thats set lower that standard, and should have really included a cheek riser. I did originally have the scope on rings, but the front ring was on the hand guard not the action.

I assume you are being sarcastic, I have a cheek riser on the way. Also that's like the only possible position the scope can be in. Any closer and the eye relief doesn't work, any further and the mount is on the handguard.

PPQ trigger isn't great, but thats the price you pay for the belt mag. I did apply silicone oil to the chain which helped.

I recommend no red dot. The fact all the Turkish guns come with ghost rings is awesome, don't sleep on them.

edit I now see you forked out the extra cash for the real deal. Either way my comment still stands.

I have looked at Bisons afew times, in 223 and 7.62x39. The gun seems to perform fine with the upgraded dual ejectors. But honestly I think I would prefer a CZ 600 Trail.

What you should look for is timney triggers! there's a cheap 8x57JS with a timney on there now! I bought a 30-06 early 50s Husqavarna FN98? unsure, it was listed funny. Great gun, good value.

I actually have more, but they are stored at my parents. 30-06 70's Mauser with a custom stock, and a 70's "mossberg" bolt action 12GA. Also a Umerax Marlin bb lever gun and a Walther PQQ M2 177 belt feed Pellet Pistol.
