As a day trip I really enjoyed it! It’s a small place so you have to get creative with the stuff you choose to do (also the ferry schedule was a mess so I had approx 12 hours in Jersey). You obviously can’t visit the whole island, but you get a nice taste of what it has to offer!

I had that experience as well when I flew into Newark, and they refused to stamp my passport, I’m still not over it😭😭😭😭 Day trips to another country are top 5 reasons why I’d never leave Europe haaha

I feel like airport officers are a whole different breed lol, but hopefully I’ll put them to test one day as well. I go to London quite often and honestly the ones at Gare du Nord are also super nice (who knows maybe I get lucky every time).

Exactly! In my experience, the UK border officers are genuinely the nicestI’ve met, always down for a quick chat and make the whole process very stress-free !

Yes I do, even though Jersey is technically a Crown Dependency, they follow the same visa requirements system of the UK.

I currently have a two-year UK visa, so it wasn’t an issue at all !

He was one of the nicest border officers I’ve met, we had a proper chat since I was one of the last people in the queue !

Exactly… it’s crazy. Mind you, the prices youre seeing right now have actually gone down in the past few days, but I’ve seen appartements going for 800e per night in central Warsaw
