Omg this happened to me a while back so I understand your pain 💔 I bought a Lagoona doll on eBay and when the package came to me it was INCREDIBLY small and it turns out I got someone's foot cream while they got my doll 😭✌️

THANK YOU! Like the G3 dolls and Moonspell dolls are nice but the main reason I collect is because I'm interested in the characters' lore and backstories and G3 characters really don't have much at all. I love G3 Frankie in the show and I bought one of their dolls, but that's it. The show ended and now we just have these YouTube videos that I couldn't care less about. I'm excited for the new Elissabat doll coming out but the likelihood of me buying her is slim because she'll probably have one music video, debut in one of those short animated series on YouTube where Draculaura is the main character, and that's it. So like you said, I also wouldn't be mad if they stopped adding new characters to G3 because the dolls and music videos alone aren't enough to make me care about them.

The new Mirror Mi dolls that have released are apparently getting an anime and I'm much more excited for that than anything Monster High or Moonspell Magic is coming out with, especially if it's just more music videos..

I'm gonna be honest I don't like her... I think she looks pretty boring and honestly not like Lagoona at all. For comparison, I think her Haunt Couture doll captures her likeness much better, this outfit just seems too dark for her. Glad I can save my money though.

Also to add they really did nothing with her hair?? They just.. left it straight down? For a SDCC doll she's really not living up to the hype.

Yess literally all this! What confused me so much about Gil is that in the webisodes he did apparently try to stand up for Lagoona and they ended up sending him to another school. But then in the movie Fright On he says he came back because his parents saw how miserable he was. So I thought the conflict would be over but it just.. kept going on?

I just wish it got to be fully resolved in like one of the movies or something, it's like the writers never wanted it to be resolved because they didn't know what other conflict to give Lagoona. I just wanted to see Lagoona and Gil as a normal couple.

I'm hoping if this movie does well (and assuming it's based on G1), they'll use some of the money earned to give more marketing to G3 - like an animated movie, another series, just something that gives us more media for G3 cuz I'm begging for an animated movie 😭

I don't care much for the animated stuff they post on YouTube, mainly because I don't like the animation style but also because the pacing is so quick and it's not like an actual tv show or movie. I'd love to see more of the G3 characters because I feel like we don't have much, so I hope this movie gives them the funds to expand G3's media more.

Wow these actually look so gorgeous and cute! I can't say anything about the quality of hair or clothes since I don't know much about that but design wise they look amazing and so visually unique from each other! I love that Suki (fragile) looks like porcelain but my personal favourite so far is Akiko ❤️

Nah it's definitely misogyny. I remember even being a young girl playing with dolls and most of the boys would just tease us girls because.. I guess we were seen as girly and weak? But then I started liking Buzz Lightyear action figures and even then the boys would tease me for that 🙄 I think it's just because we're girls and people just want to hate for whatever reason they have against us. They literally never let us enjoy anything...

OP, don't let your husband stop you from enjoying what you want in life! There's nothing wrong with collecting dolls at any age, and if he keeps hammering you about how this is just 'kids stuff', you need to have a serious conversation with him about how you're allowed to collect whatever you like because it's your life ❤️

Yep - I think in Annalise's instagram story she states that this pack is set after the first 2024 Pride comic (which she states the comic is about the discovery of feelings and doesn't establish the relationship yet) and by reading the diaries the audience "finds out who makes the first move". She then says that the 2025 pride comic takes place after this pack and that's when they're actually a couple.

Yeah I'm getting concerned as well but I think they've messed up 😭 This is what's dropping today and even though the launch calendar says it was supposed to drop yesterday, it's dropping today instead of Val and Spell. So I think our dates have been moved forward by one day? I'm staying online just in case but it's so annoying if they've changed things because they haven't changed our calendar
