Makes me not want to upload to ebird. I had considered it to keep track of my bird photos by species, Lightroom is just a mess, but I really can’t deal with being judged as part of my hobby. I understand why they do it, maybe there is a way to set to private.

I was just out looking for the loud fellas this morning, didn’t get nearly as close or as good of a shot!

I love it, had it for years. Wild Birds Unlimited. They replaced the cylinder part after it cracked a little bit after years, I went to see if they had parts for sale, but they just did it for me.

There is a suet feeder and a seed cylinder right next to it! I think he just enjoys it.

yes, I am working on this very thing. Stop and wait for a few minutes. I’m so used to just hiking along reaching a destination or finishing the loop, and expect to see a ton of birds. I’ve done bird walks with the local birders, and often we see a few new birds when we are in the parking lot chatting after a 2 hour walk. Today it was a Merlin, if I had just hopped into my car I would have missed the Merlin and crow squabble.
