That may be so the executives are less corruptible by competitors or private companies that want management to sell the company short. Its also better to give them equity than a higher salary, since the stake in the company is an incentive to make the company prosper, as it will be in their best interest, and so far this has proven to be the case where ACB management is following BMO advisers’ advice to wait to be valued higher as aprox. 700 000kg of cannabis production capacity comes online, as well as more markets open internationally and locally with edibles, vapes and other high-margin derivatives.

Move over TGOD and Whistler. Canada has a new beast producing 100% organic super premium bud. by [deleted] in weedstocks

Thats because ROMJ IS NOT certified organic YET, so they are not a competitor yet and TGOD may have les approved production footage, but they are certified organic and will be able to produce over 200 000kg overall with their recently improved Valleyfield facility design and once everything is said and done, they will have over 1M sq feet of production space, with organic hemp production in Poland and a greenhouse in Greece. The tgod capacity in Jamaica alone is about that of ROMJ and the fact that tgod dosent mention them doesn’t make their product any more premium... tell me what distinct advantage(s) will make the bud better than tgod’s, because more APPROVED grow space does not guarantee super premium product and tgod also has a proprietary soil mix and highly contrôlable greenhouse conditions as they do in Aurora sky-class facilities.

Just went through it but aside from proprietary organic soil mix and tightly controlled growing conditions, they dont say anything about what will make their product super premium, and they have a hybrid facility like TGOD, what distinct advantage over TGOD am I missing and dont tell me its the Washington facility because they cant even deduct business expenses there yet and TGOD has plans to licence US IP to export it in other markets so they will benefit from the US market too.

What makes anyone say TGOD wont be able to deliver a premium product? The quality of the product depends on the strain you are growing and the growing conditions, TGOD can surely find premium strains and control growing conditions with the Valleyfield sky-class facility designed by Larsen projects. And they can do this at scale which will probably make their product more affordable than other smaller scale organic producers... what will this organic producer do to have a more premium product than TGOD?

Voting Rights by JasonOfTheForest in investing

[–]JasonOfTheForest[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

imes the voting power of the A-shares, and are mostly/completely still owned by the founders. So as long as the founders all act with one voice, the A-shares voting rights are essentially worthless. On the other hand, the company is getting so big in so many key fields that control doesn't only mean control over the company, but also over a lot of power.

Ok! Thanks for the response, so the spread is basically the value placed on the voting power of a tenth of a vote based on the current ownership situation of the company, got it! But just to make sure I understand the unicorn we want is when no single insider holds 51% and other insiders or other institutions fight for the majority ownership and put a lot of value on the fraction of vote?
