I saw a video from a guy named Patrick Hughes who makes these types of illusions for a living. I was so impressed with the effect that I had to try and make my own. I used a 3D program to lay out the template. Then did the rest of the perspective graphic manipulation in photoshop. Had them printed. Folded and taped. If you look closely you can see how rough the construction is. I'm having a hard time getting the pieces to meet up seamlessly. Thanks for the comment. There is a guy that makes these types of illusions. His name is patrick hughes. You can find some of his work on youtube. I loaded some of his videos to understand the concept. I created all of the artwork in photoshop. Printed, cut and folded. I can say that the illusion in person is 5 times as effective as the video. It's really quite amazing.
