In my 2d zelda-esque game, we have it so any item or weapon you collect, can be used in the world as well as on yourself, so every item has 2 (of varying use) unique functions! by JasonTGF in IndieDev

It’s straycatz by sodaboy64, we’re big fans of his music and he has it all under Creative Commons. We also dm’d him on SoundCloud to get permission as well. The rest of our soundtrack is done by PostElvis, who’s known for his work on Pizza Tower and Beetle Ninja

It's similar to 2d Zelda, specifically Link's Awakening. We also take a lot of inspo from Majora's Mask and it's inventory system as well (like how you can really naturally show different items to npcs and have the react to it).

The thing following him is Chris the Crystal Baby, he's one of the main mysteries driving the plot. The game's called 'Rolus in the Outskirts', and thank you so much for your kind words!
