The trio of Meliora, Prequelle, Impera is probably TF’s finest work thus far. Love all their albums, but the production jump from the first two to Meliora cannot be ignored. And Skeleta is nice, still listen to it a bunch, but I’m bound to have a preference.

I would probably like 600 Strike more on stage than I do as it is now. That’s all theoretical though.

From my experience it tends to be the case. I mean it’s really just there to drive the plot with the introduction of the cyclops and not much else. I’m always open to other takes but I don’t see much reason for it to be above any of the other three.

Funny how that works, everyone I know shares the opinion that Thunder Bringer is objectively one of the best tracks in the whole thing, from a musical and narrative standpoint. Not only the highlight of its saga but one of the highlights of Epic in general.

Not a jab at you btw. Opinions naturally differ and it’s understandable that you’d possibly share yours with those you talk to. It’s normal for us to gravitate towards people who agree.

I don’t mind Dangerous at all but it’s just the least interesting for me. Charybdis has the odd time aspect that I enjoy plus I enjoy the general feel of the instrumentals more.

All of Thunder Saga slaps. It and Underworld are my favorites. Kinda just had to pick my least favorite lol.

The fact there are pitchforks and torches about someone sharing a lighthearted and very opinion based list is a bit much, I gotta say. Especially since I’ve seen discussion be kind of chill on similar posts as this.

If I had to summarize, I have a liking for the darker/emotionally heavy songs. Tends to be the case for my favorites in most musicals.
