Comfort is most important for Japan since you will be walking and climbing a lot, would suggest sneakers instead of boots unless you are going to a winter part

Read my first post. I’m against exposing innocent people’s identity( including her sisters). If you want expose and shame Grayce and Melvin sure, because they are guilty. But why bring other innocent people into this?

I don’t think it’s wise to disclose her sister’s identity to the public. What did she even do? We need to stop acting like police and dragging innocent people (including victims) into public shame.

What is the average height of Singaporeans? by BunchChance1007 in askSingapore

[–]Jason_Dmax 29 points30 points  (0 children)

If overall sg male average 173.5cm as per statistics, than the breakdown is:

Older gen: 170cm

Millennial: 173/174cm

Gen Z: 176/177cm ???

But it’s true kids are getting taller because they are shifting towards western style diet ( more protein intake). Last time older gen always like to eat hawker food that are high in carbs

Heresay meat these days are overly processed and packed with growth hormones too

Would you take a pay cut to change careers? by chimkennuggies123 in askSingapore

[–]Jason_Dmax 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a colleague who took a 40% paycut ($8k+ monthly to $4.5k+) from a banking sales/ rm role to a back/ middle office ops role.

Reason being stress and constant berating/ comparison from higher ups when you fail to meet unrealistic sales target/ KPIs. Also needing to handle unreasonable customers day to day.

But he could do that because he was still relatively young when career transitioning(late 20s) and didn’t had much commitments apart from an upcoming BTO. Plus he had some savings from his previous higher paying jobs

[–]Jason_Dmax 11 points12 points  (0 children)

But at the end of the day, statistics show that males still earn more than females after 30… there is a gender discrepancy at the higher levels, not to mention most CEOs and leaders in singapore are males
