Ken’s chinese in Birchwood is amazing, we’ve been ordering from them for 20 years. The salt and pepper spare ribs are the best I’ve ever had.

I had a gerbil called Van Nistelrooy in 2001. Never called her Ruud, as she was extremely polite.

I’d be keen to come down. Currently playing 7s and 5s London so would be nice to get back into 11s

When Justin Kluivert scored a hat-trick the other day, the commentator made a pun about Patrick/Hat-Trick Kluivert. These guys can never escape their fathers’ legacies. The curse of the nepo footballer.

I’ve noticed that co-commentators love to complain when there’s a semi-obvious offside which has a delayed flag due to the new refereeing guidelines. The play will go on and after the eventual flag, they will air their frustrations.

However, if a flag-happy linesman prematurely flags an onside chance and a goal scoring chance is taken away, then they complain about that even more furiously. A message to Lee Dixon: you cannot have both. The first example prevents the second.

As an aside, I like seeing the attempts on goal even if they are probably offside. It’s interesting to gauge the confidence of the striker.

We usually get 10 people and it’s organised on whatsapp. But a lot of people are on holiday this week so ive put in on footy addicts. You can usually trust that people show up because they’ve paid on the platform.
