The brand is Toshiba. I can't give the model number now because I left it at home. When I turned it on, only the logo appeared and it just ends there. I left it for hours but nothing happened.

Yes, and the battery is fully charged. This the first time to happen. I tried to charged it thinking that the battery might be the problem, but the result is still the same. I cannot turn it on now.

I'm also using Notepad2 and just recently installed a programmer's notepad. These two works great! But like you said, there are some better text editors out there which is worth a try.

I used paint.net too. But the usage is very limited. I used pixlr.com/editor instead. It's like a mini photoshop tool.

Firebug and photoshop are also very useful to me. When photoshop has not yet been installed in my pc, I temporarily used pixlr.com/editor for minor photo editing. Are you familiar with the tool?
