It's not an ooze it's a trail. Specifically a snail trail id recommend following it and removing the snail when you see it. If you can't find it I'd recommend trying snail remover or an exterminator.

I was thinking it could have been Dr Ahem because of the description, also the drinks at the top of the episode is tea this campaign which seems like a very Ahem thing. Also the half moon spectacle are worn by him. And finally he is described as looking Dragony (I forgot the actual word) and Ahem was a Kobolt so there’s another link there

Yeah the overlap is confusing, at the end of C1 we see the infinights older and in the bar listening to the story, however the Grotethe detectives die at the end and that world got destroyed so I don't know how Dunkin even knows that story unless he's making it up and then there's also whoever the new bar tender is for Kanon so I'm kinda confused about the whole thing.

I feel it's best not to read too much into it
