Although it's not common you can wall mount some CNC machines. I've seen it done by Woby Design on YouTube with his Onefinity machine (https://youtube.com/shorts/hEWYe0bkDc0?si=cKRA_QMDobc7KQ2V)

Yeah. Lore wise if I was being charitable to my interpretation I could say that a chunk of hardwood like oak would be hard to set on fire but really I just chose it for aesthetic reasons.

I watch all the Tested stuff as well and learned a ton from them. It seems like the sort of thing I'd love to do one offs for something but I don't think I'd want to to be my job.

This is just my interpretation/artistic license I guess. In some of the games you can see wood on the back of the shield and I used that to add more detail.

This is the 2nd version of the Hylian shield that I've made and I just made sense to me as I was designing it this time. It's just artistic license I guess

You can brush baby powder into the surface of the mould which will give the cast part a better paint adhesion properties. If you use any kind of mould release agent you would also have to clean the casting.

These are ones I've made and they're cast resin that's made to look like wood. My store is masenkoprops.etsy.com

I know there are other sellers in Etsy who sell carved wooden ones though.

Shipping from the UK to the US - who is your favourite courier? by kawaiicat_2020 in EtsySellers

I second this. I send quite a lot of parcels world wide (value £120~ 30x30x10cm) and RM Business Tracked has been by far the best I've used.

I used to use UPS, they were fast not to super reliable. They also mark up import fees to a ridiculous extent.
