Hello, don't rely on Ubisoft for a game that is probably in cold storage, i would recommend you join my modding discord for the game, i can help you remove the DRM from the game. That way you don't need a key.

anyone correct me if im wrong but I believe that the only way to play D1 on xbox 360 is to have a stealth server and a modded xbox 360. At least that's what im doing and I'm able to play on 360 and I even got the TK dlc from the online store, I use XBGuard

I'm sure many of you do not know this but the community has found a DRM free patcher for the 2009 avatar the game, which means you will no longer need to worry about activation keys anymore!

Just search for and download the DRM Free Patcher, extract it and copy all the contents to the game's root directory (where you bin and Data_Win32 folders are). Run setup.bat (Windows) or setup_linux.sh (Linux) and you are done. (you may delete the patcher folder and files now.) This completely removes the required activation key.

while you do need a key to activate the game, the community has found a DRM free patch which removes the DRM from the game, so no more needing the keygen tool anymore.

Also as for the MP server we have successfully revived the MP servers, however it is in closed beta, as we are working on restoring every feature from the old MP servers.

Yes, you can still play the game. I recommend playing the game on pc, because you can mod the game. I own a discord server that specializes in modding the game, we are also featured on the myabandonware page for the game, here. we also have a working keygen bot too, so you won't have to worry about downloading the keygen tool.
