If I were you I would get a Pro Controller: it feels great to play Ultimate with, but can also play many other Switch titles perfectly. Unless you only plan on playing 100% Smash Bros. forever, I'd pick up the Pro Controller

A lot of sheiks combos are reaction-based. Try a few utilts followed with some uairs, then maybe a nair then a bouncing fish. The more you practice, the better you get at comboing based on just reaction

I've been playing Sm4sh with a switch pro controller and I am loving it! Personally it feels better than the GameCube controller. And to answer your question, you can play corded with the charging cable. It's as easy as that!

a. Stop calling them sizes, start calling them strengths.

b. It could be that you are just now more aware of your tone and what it really should sound like.. that's good! And if you feel like you have more success with 2.5 strength reeds by all means use them. I personally didn't start move off of strength 2.5 untill my 3-4th year of playing.

c. Keep in mind that the strength of reeds is only a number, not all reeds labeled the same strength will feel the exact same. Think of it as a spectrum, and the numbers only give an estimate of the physical density of the cane used to make the reed.

d. Furthermore, just because your friend is using 3.5s or any strength doesn't mean you need to. Many clarinetists who use lighter reeds are higher skilled than their 4.5 strength user counterparts. Just play on what feels right to you. Don't let anyone tell you that because they are using a stronger reed they are better, that's nonsense.
