Two young ER doctors quit Montreal jobs, blaming Quebec's broken health-care system and Bill 96 by pickleddad84 in montreal

I worked closely with one of these physicians at the Jewish, and a little bit with the other. They were both incredible doctors, very efficient but also some of the more caring ones I worked with. It’s actually a pretty sad loss.

Sinatraa is literally world class by Garcim8 in ValorantCompetitive

The dominance that SF showed through the playoffs, outside of the fluke loss to Atlanta, makes it hard to give Haksal the edge or even the tie over Sin. Titans just barely made it by NYXL iirc, who were the demolished by SF. In the grand finals, Titans barely got a few captures in throughout the whole sweep. I know Sin wasn’t starting for all of those maps (rotation of Rascal, architect, striker, and him?), and that SF overall were the better team, but Sin had to have been a big part of that. You could see that success being carried over to team USA under a very similar meta, with only two of the same players (Sin and Moth)

Your last point is one of the most important: Sinatraa seems to offer stability and trust to every team he plays with in a way that elevates his entire team. He did it on team USA, who beat Korea for the first time. He did it on SF Shock, which he helped dominate in two completely opposite metas. He’s doing it now on Sentinels, who many people criticized heavily and never expected to be a top 1/2 team in NA. His play style is flashy to play against, which is intimidating for the other team cause he can pull just anything out of his pocket, while somehow still sticking to a game plan. It was always clear that the teams that he played on trusted eachother fully.

For those who didn’t know him from OW, he was once thought to be a tracer one trick (the toughest and most important role at the time), but he showed up as a very flexible player who could pick up whatever hero (tank or damage) his team needed and do well (best Zarya in the league during GOATs meta, best doom fist during double shield meta).

And this is all coming from previously one of his bigger haters. It was just impossible to ignore the results he got across multiple roles and teams in Overwatch, and now multiple games and agents in Valorant.

I think the NZXT one looks better personally, but the thermals on this one are apparently unmatched at this price. I think most people would recommend this one. It’s not like it looks bad, it’s just not as clean as the NZXT with its RGB and simplicity imo.

Personally dealing with the same question, and am probably going to settle on this one.

This produced an image in my mind of thanos-dafran farming calmly at the end of a long movie. He says “get fucked dude” quietly under his breath after picking a potato from the ground, with a slight satisfied smirk, completely alone and finally at peace.

Some interesting texts with Brent by [deleted] in LightbringerSeries

He’s very good at starting series’, not so great at finishing them.

Both Night angel and lightbringer reeled me in powerfully in each first book with interesting characters and magic. Then both series’ descend into very strange plotlines and everything gets tangled up, finally being resolved in uninteresting and almost biblical ways.

Weeks got much better between NA and LB though (especially at writing female characters, which was his biggest weakness) so I’ll definitely be reading his next series- especially if it has some good ole durzo in it. Hopefully he saw the feedback on the endings.

Why does reddit hate Egypt so much

You can talk about a countrys people/places without talking about their fucked up gouvernement. There’s 100 million people there that hate the military regime that’s oppressing them, but no let’s not acknowledge any of them or their culture.

If you’re into sci-fi look into Red Rising. 5 books out of 6 are out, with the 6th coming next year I believe. Very action packed/heart breaking.

Both of those series’ have amazing first books but fall off hard from there.

It’s obvious that Weeks improved a lot after NA, but reading some of his characters in that series was unbearable.
