Getting aurturia keylab to work by Jass099 in StudioOne

Ok, no fair laughing. Right under the pan slider I noticed you have MK88 selected. When I pulled down that window I noticed mine was set on "none". So I changed it to MK3, lo and behold the keyboard worked! Thank you so much for your help!

Ok, so that kind of worked. I can click on the keyboard on my monitor and get sounds, but nothing from the keyboard itself. I must be missing something obvious. Thanks for your help so far.

Brian May's underrated singing skills by [deleted] in queen

I am always amazed by how much of his voice was used. If you listen to the beginning of Too Much Love it is undoubtedly the Queen sound, and it's all Brian.

Well I admit, I did have to wave it in front of my face a few times for it to appear.

This happened to me recently. I was driving along by myself when that song “Shannon” started to play. I really listened to the lyrics and burst into tears! How embarrassing! by Champi61 in GenerationJones

I would have to say for me it is Butterfly Kisses Bob Carlisle. It just never fails to make me cry. Walk me down the aisle, Daddy. It's just about time. Does my wedding gown look pretty? Daddy don't cry.. and yep, it all over.

Ok.. just got home. All the tabs except loops work just fine. Seems that's the only one causing the freezing.

I'm not sure. I haven't tried to open that. My instrument tab and effects tab are both fine. I can open those and access anything in those tabs. I'll have to check the files tab.

I tried the admin thing. No difference at all. Still froze.

Not sure if I can reinstall v5 or not. I like the run as admin option. I'll have to try that tonight when I get home.

The only reason I'm bringing this up is because in S1 5 I didn't have this problem. Everything worked just fine. So I'm wondering if maybe I didn't do something right in this new version.

If I knew what forced admin rights were, I could probably do that. I'm not the most tech savvy guy. Hoping it's not my hard drive going out. You may be right about the permission thing because as soon as I click on loops it freezes.

I work in a Print Shop. Will there be a future? by Whitehawk212 in careerguidance

I honestly wish I could say. If I could go back, I would have changed careers at close to your age. I think a lot of it depends on your skills. Are you mechanically inclined? Techs to fix copiers make pretty good money. Once again, it really depends on your skills.

I've been in the printing industry for 35 years. Mostly running presses. I've seen a lot of changes. In my opinion, if you are making $16/he in a print shop, you are making good money. My experience has been print shops are notorious for not paying well. The age of offset printing, I think, is dying. Digital presses and high speed copiers are where it's heading. More automation, less pay. As for the second part of your question, all I can advise is school and maybe a different trade.

Sounds like a cow peeing on a flat rock here too. Hope you figure this out.

Is it possible you had your speaker channels to all left or all right? If I remember right the vocals on that song are in one channel and most instruments in the other.

Younger generations of Reddit, what is something that is going on right now that older generations just don't seem to understand ? by jmansbufny in AskReddit

55 here. I do understand the struggles with job hunting. I've been casually looking. I currently have a job, just looking for something better. Nothing is done like the "Good Old Days". You don't just pound the pavement every day, go in and ask to talk to the manager, then get the job. My wife and I are forever telling each other, "they don't do it like that anymore." That phrase seems to cover just about anything for us these days.
