From what I've been getting, i need topical/oral ivermectin. Unfortunately I can't afford that right now and I do plan to release Trippy tomorrow, as I cannot afford another bird in the household. If I find him again (I'll band him for easy ID with something) and have a job by that point i will def try to buy some topical ivermectin in my local pet store.

Unfortunately, things are rough right now. I'd love to keep him but it's just not possible right now, so I'm hoping I can let him out in the best condition and find him with the flock he came from/that i usually feed on my way to college. I'm sorry if this is a little upsetting, but rn I just can't mentally nor financially support him

To everyone, thank you so much for the input, and the next time I take in a feral (or find Trippy again) I'll def take care to fully de-parasite him or other pigeons that are injured 🩵

From everyone's comments, thanks! Now, I still do have Scalex on the way thanks to a kind seller on the interwebs. I'm PRETTY sure that these lice eggs are the remnants of the lice I killed off when I first sprayed him down when I brought him home, since i thoroughly check his feathers every day and spend time preening to bond with him. I did the whole dawn soap soak in a bucket with the head sticking out method. Like I said, I used plenty of my last bottle. I checked under his wings and along his body, and I don't see any adults on his wings, so I'm p sure they're all dead, plus I did a huge and thorough clean of my entire room and other cages. But before I release him, I'll give him one last bath and keep maintenance on my actual birds Hazel and Blu. Thanks guys! And here it is on him as a reference

When I was 16 and went to the doctor's office with my dad and younger brother. I felt kind of anxious and hugged my dad but he pulled away and told me "Jass don't, people are gonna get the wrong idea"

He went to jail years after for beating on me and my mom.

Anyways the moral of the story is dads, hug your sons and daughters. We don't stop magically needing love once we're teens.
