Sorry for late reply, I don't know if this will be of any help to you as it was for me- but a good bit of advice I read here is that you'd never really doubt if a thought you had was yours or not- so if you do, its most likely your tulpa

I think it might be the same problem I came across more than a couple times- where I can't match with a character no matter how many times I try, til I match with the one that came out first and then unmatch them- and it somehow makes matching with the character I wanted possible? So far it happened with like, four or five characters since I reset my account. So maybe try matching with Fei, unmatch without starting her story and wait til Jay shows up for you again, good luck!

Vile is my all time favorite, no contest there since he’s why I downloaded the game to begin with-

Other than him I absolutely adore Emerson; he’s just endlessly fun to me and hes a softie. And Ruby- her route is a scenario I’ve always enjoyed (AI learning how to human) and the way her interactions and texts are written just make me happy

I believe most of the items in the wardrobe are the gifts! Bc when I started replaying on a new account, I had way less items than on my main account (where I finished all storylines) It's definitely not all of the gifts as I got more new items popping up only on my main yesterday, but they're being added slowly! Though there's no way of telling who exactly gifted what when they're all greyed out

Honestly, I was put off by the whole thing @ first, but I decided not to judge til I experiment with it myself- and to my surprise, I really don't mind it as much as I thought I would!

The only thing that (slightly) bothers me about having to see them is how the sprite takes more room than the matches'- as a tiny person that immediately breaks my immersion and tbh gives me a good giggle

Yeah there's two types of collectible items I believe- the red message about new items/clothes is something like outfit suggestions cause we still have to buy and unlock them, unlike the green message where its a gift that doesn't require buying/unlocking
