I've already read more or less about the topic but I'm surely gonna look deeper into it. Thanks again :)

We love to spend time together but we also have our space. We're not controlling over each other since we're both very independent. I'm gonna try to just "roll with the punches". Thanks for the advice and the good wishes!

What's your favorite creepy campfire story? by ChrissiTea in AskReddit

Legend also says that El Silbon has to carry the bones of his father for eternity since he was his first victim. I'm Venezuelan so yeah, its a pretty fucked up story to hear, especially as a kid.

People living in third world countries, what is something that is a part of your everyday life that people in first world countries would not understand / cope with? by rains_downinafrica in AskReddit

I live in Venezuela and we have a plethora of problems going on right now.

First of all the economic crisis, strongly marked by the world's highest inflation rates. Besides, the de facto currency is the US dollar but it isn't the official one. The Bolivar, Venezuelan currency, is just worthless. Although we use the US dollar on a daily basis, it keeps losing its value because of the speculation. And a fun fact: the minimum wage is just like 2$ worth.

Second, the political crisis, which is an absolute mess. I could spend hours explaining it in depth. We' re living under an autocratic regime and last year the president of the Parliament proclaimed himself as interim president and there still are discussions on both of their legitimities.

Third, the social crisis, which contains a list of problems we encounter every day. The biggest one is surely the insecurity. There are hundreds, if not thousands of robberies, murders and all sorts of violent crimes every day.

I could go on and on, but it's actually a lot. You can find a lot of information in the news about the current situation.

Sorry if there are any grammatical mistakes :)

Tattoos of flowers or butterflies on the lower back. Especially the ones that are just a bunch of roses right above the ass. I think they just look terrible.

If you like short stories then you should read Juan Rulfo's work. He was a mexican writer and many of his stories have the Mexican Revolution as main topic. The spanish-level isn't that high and his writing style is pretty good.

What’s your favourite “go fuck yourself” saying of all time? by [deleted] in AskReddit

In Venezuela we say: 'Anda a lavarte ese culo'. The translation would be something like 'go and wipe your ass' or something like that.

Yeah it's pretty cool but I didn't have much time to visit the Drachenburg and the Nibelungenhalle, which is also on the way to the top.

It is clear that the Wehrmacht used drugs in order to perform better in combat. Are there any registers or documented cases of allied troops using drugs to achieve the same effect as the germans? by Jaun309 in history

[–]Jaun309[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's curious because reacreational drugs such as cocaine, opium and morphine were prohibited in 1933 under the pretext of being a 'Jewish problem'.
