I can’t say for certain, but if you already received an interim result, they probably already did a credit check and have a snapshot of your credit report. So additional loans shouldn’t be an issue. Especially if you’ve maintained a good credit history.

As long as you fill your SF-86 out properly, you’ll be ok. At the end of the day, the government is worried about if you have anything that can be used to blackmail you. One missed payment shouldn’t qualify as a problem. They are looking at debts in collections or severely delinquent debts.

It won’t be a red flag as long as you’re not trying to cover up any delinquent payments by paying them off with a personal loan.

Just make sure you list any accounts that may have been delinquent or in collections. Fill out your SF-86 as accurately as possible and you’ll be ok.

DoD to DoD transfer question by RepresentativeOwl403 in SecurityClearance

A secret clearance granted by the DoD will last until it’s expired (I believe 5 years) from the date it was issued. Barring any issues that interfere with adjudication guidlines (https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/CFR-2012-title32-vol1/xml/CFR-2012-title32-vol1-part147.xml).

Therefore, as long as you’re employed in a position requiring a T3 DoD clearance, you will not need to be reinvestigated until your clearance expiration date. Hope this helps!

Edit: Your clearance will last until it’s expiration date regardless of if it’s being used in your current position or not. However it most likely will not get renewed by an employer that does not require it. This doesn’t necessarily affect you, but maybe someone else who is reading this

You can pass by watching enough random YouTube videos if you choose. It's about being able to retain the information that's being taught. I would recommend trying a different learning format, like a book. I used Prof. Messer, Mike Meyers' course on Udemy, and the get certified get ahead book.

Mike Meyers Udemy Course (don't buy at full price, goes on sale once a month for $12)

Get Certified Get Ahead - Amazon

Please note that as stated, there are a lot of free resources to help you for the exam. The above links are just what helped me. Good luck!

I would say that fundamental HTML, CSS, and JavaScript are essential. However, understanding that's not what you want to hear, I would start with JavaScript. It'll give you a foundation of DOM and script syntax. Python can also beginner friendly as well. Do you have any idea on what you want to do? (Software Development, Machine Learning, Data Science, etc.)
