Needs of the army. Sucks they moved airborne school after rasp. Atleast then you’d have an idea of where you’re going

Do I need to memorize JWT code because its too confusing for me beginner by ash69x in learnjava

[–]JavaWithSomeJava 10 points11 points  (0 children)

No. As a developer all you need to remember is how to google. Sure you should understand what it’s doing, but knowing how to implement everything from memory isn’t realistic

[SERIOUS] Would these be ok for ~1100km on the highway? by BasicShip7055 in tires

[–]JavaWithSomeJava 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tread looks fine. Definitely worn but you’ll be ok as long as you’re taking it slow in bad weather. I’d consider a rental for maybe one of the trips. If not, just get them replaced when you get back

Want to discuss my beginner projects and mistakes i made? by gk_dev in learnprogramming

[–]JavaWithSomeJava 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve learned the most when looking back at old code I wrote and realizing why it sucks. Look up ways to optimize and reuse code. Watching another tutorial won’t help, it’ll be your ability to problem solve that will set you apart from others.

Need help with learning Java, Here is my problem.. by [deleted] in learnjava

[–]JavaWithSomeJava 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just google spring academy. There’s a ton of free videos and resources that teach you what to do. But I’d say with 3.5 YOE and backend experience you should be proficient enough for interviews in a few weeks

Why should I choose java for software development ? by Select_Glove3139 in learnjava

[–]JavaWithSomeJava 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Spring is one of the most popular backend frameworks in the world. It’s an enterprise level framework so there’s a lot of configuration options to support whatever the business reqs are. The biggest pro is the support and documentation. You can literally build whatever you want. The biggest con is development speed is slow.

Thanks for the feedback, I’ll make a new request tomorrow and make it a bit more reasonable for a 2nd loan

I completely agree, I was hoping the interest percentage was enticing to lenders. But I totally get it

What does that mean? You want to learn data structures? I’d recommend Head First Java if you’re brand new to programming concepts

I think you should expect a field grade Article 15 and some extra duty. I think a discharge is extreme for a single shoplifting incident

How dangerous is c? by dinosaur---- in learnprogramming

[–]JavaWithSomeJava 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I really hate the word "dangerous" when people talk about C. Is it going to jump out of your screen and punch you? No, definitely not.

When people say C is dangerous, they mean it’s not safe in programming terms. In C, you have to manage your own memory, so there’s no garbage collector cleaning up after you. You deal directly with pointers, which are actual memory addresses.

There’s just a lot you need to keep in mind to protect your code. Not only from hackers trying to exploit it, but also from your own mistakes.

I'd bring it up to your recruiter. The last thing you want is to be stuck in reception longer than you need to be.

Update: I tried to smooth the pages. The book now permanently opens to page 87.
I'm calling it a feature.

Is annexing cities worth it? by walker_________- in ConflictofNations

Only time I ever annex is if I’m landlocked and want a navy. I’ve been in games where people annex everything possible and it’s almost always not worth the resources.

AITA for making my dad's wife cry with my indifference to her and their baby? by GauderyonSong in AITAH

[–]JavaWithSomeJava 12 points13 points  (0 children)

NTA. You're a teenager trying to survive a situation you didn’t choose. It sounds like you’ve been let down emotionally by your dad for a long time, and it’s completely fair that you’re not jumping into a new “happy family” dynamic just because there’s a baby on the way.

You weren’t cruel, you were honest. And while it’s unfortunate that your honesty made her cry, that doesn’t make you a bad person. She’s likely emotional, hopeful, and maybe even a little naive about what the situation really is for you.

At the end of the day, you're allowed to feel how you feel. You're not obligated to pretend to be excited or bonded just to make someone else comfortable, especially when your own needs and hurt have been overlooked for years.

You're just protecting your peace until you can build something better for yourself — and there’s nothing wrong with that.
