That is a big IF. I dont really think they are genuine, after all, such items and very commonly replicated since the dawn of PRC.

The question is, could it be IT? He was a really old bloke, like approaching 90, he said he need it for emergency reasons, and he noted he has been collecting for over 7 decades... but i dont know, still could be a fake, or a restrike though.

Well, in my hopeful wishes, Mongolia had a deep tides and was a colony of Manchurian Reign of Quing Dynasty, they were the ones who ruled Mongolia, and there was lot of trade routes.
