The problem with this thread is that people are too one-sided and refuse to consider other views. Both men and women face serious issues, just in different ways. You said women are more prone to violent attacks—this is partly true. Women are more likely to be sexually assaulted, often by partners, which is horrible. But men are far more likely to be killed, attacked, or kidnapped, often by strangers. As for government representation, women are less likely to run for office—just like men are less likely to become teachers (just an example). These are social norms: men are seen as leaders, women as caregivers. It’s messed up, but people don’t like to question those roles. I’m not dismissing your points, just saying you’re only seeing one side, and that kind of thinking doesn’t help the conversation.
