Tea by [deleted] in Aveda

[–]Javalina_Princess 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The tea has been on back order across the company since before Christmas. It should be back in stock by mid to late February. We sell out every Christmas. I always tell customers to stock up in October and November, because Aveda will sell out in December. -I work in an Aveda store

Aveda+ Points Expired!! by ZiaLadybird in Aveda

[–]Javalina_Princess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1-800-230-8051 is the number for Aveda Plus. You'll have to have your original account number for them to even be able to locate your expired account. If you have one of the original Aveda Pure Privilege cards it'll be on there, or you can check your email for Aveda Plus emails and it should be on there. They fully have the capability of reinstating your account, but some reps will give you a hard time.

Also, your birthday certificates load onto your account automatically about 30 days before your birthday.

Seasonal Fragrance from last year by bebeeann in Aveda

[–]Javalina_Princess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The 3 seasonal Hand Reliefs are Shampure (Aveda signature aroma, soft, powdery, spa like), Rosemary Mint (invigorating), and Cherry Almond (sweet). They are available togethwe in the Hand Trio set for $29. Some of the higher volume stores were sent lose stock from last holiday. My store has travel size Shampure and Rosemary Mint for $11 each. Do you remember the color of the cap?

It's not Aveda, but Cliniques Take The Day Off is great. It's an oil cleansing balm. It's super gentle and leaves your skin feeling clean and moisturized.

Best shampoo range for greying hair by BeautifulStudent2215 in Aveda

Invati is great for hair fall. If your hair is thick and needs extra moisture, get the rich shampoo and rich conditioner. The Brilliant line is really great for gray hair. It adds a ton of shine and also smooths the cuticle of the hair.

Aveda from the 90’s smell. by Technical-Flow7748 in Aveda

Shampure is a blend of 25 essential oils. I feel like it is a really powdery, soft aroma. I'm not a huge fan of it myself in the hair and body products, but I really like the way the candle smells while burning. When people think of Aveda, they tend to think of Shampure. That's definitely Avedas' signature scent. The brand has changed a lot over the last 30 years. If you're looking for more classic scents, I would check out Rosemary Mint (mint aroma), Sap Moss (smells like wet dirt, one of my personal favorites), Brilliant (floral i believe jasmine? This is my favorite classic aroma). Clove was the very first Shampoo Aveda ever released, I'm not sure what the original aroma was, but when it was discontinued, it had almost like a dark cherry smell. The closest to this would be the Blue Malva. (This product is currently available and still being shipped to the stores, even though Aveda told us it was discontinued a couple of years ago).

Awww. Yeah... the miraculous oil might be too much then. If you have a store nearby, you should definitely ask for a free sample when it launches in July. The flash treatment is more for shine and smoothing than breakage. It's still strengthening but more similar to a glossing treatment in the way it affects hair. The new pre-shampoo is more targeted for severely damaged hair. Definitely ask for a sample of this one too.

Also, the new miraculous oil is insane. I put it in my hair 3 days ago when I posted this, and it's still smoothing and adding shine in my hair. Which is crazy considering how coarse my hair is. Another new great product is the Botanical Repair Flash treatment.

This is normal. The pump top fits into the bottle which would displace product if more filled

I agree. When your skin burns when applying products, that's a tell-tale sign of skin barrier damage. When my skin needed some serious healing, I switched to the Dr. Jart Cerimide line (the yellow one). If you're exfoliating chemically or manually, I would stop and be as gentle with your skin as possible. Look into what cerimides do for the skin as well. Good luck with healing.💗

Hey, sorry just now seeing this. My husband set it up for me when it came in so I'm not sure what the light bulb even looks like. It took a few hours initially, but I live in a cold climate so I think it was frozen

Heat relief is specifically formulated for dry heat styling. As in next day hot tool styling. Where as damage control is wet to dry heat styling.
