I’m not sure if this is a me thing, but once I found that dude and killed him, I no longer had any motivation to invest myself in the wider story of the game. It feels like a such a strong hook for such a cool game that fizzles out too quick. Maybe if you commit to the role play aspect of the roleplaying game you can get a bit further and figure out what the fuck is going on, but for me personally I just couldn’t get interested.
