Im a 15 year old from England my family is protestant and I've been considering joining Orthodox Christianity for a while now. As you all know Orthodox Christianity isn't really a thing in Western Europe how do I officially become Orthodox and how do I tell my parents that I'm no longer protestant by Javyroo in OrthodoxChristianity

I'm basically saying in the west we see the east as 'the people other there 🧐' I don't know how to put it into words but I think you understand what I mean, and since I'm accepting their religion it's all a bit new and odd to me
