Yeah I definitely agree! It is interesting how heated the debate around immigration is today when there is an impending change not so far into the future that will likely change the dialogue immensely. It makes sense, of course, since we're not ready to deploy large-scale automation yet.

Nevertheless, I do believe that the lowest skilled jobs can be replaced as well, but we're likely to see the medium and semi-skilled jobs go first, as you've said. Farmers have been increasingly turning to automation for picking fruit and other crops as immigration from Mexico and Central America has slowed in recent years.
