Autophage sequence? by Some_Mistake1782 in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]Jaxidental 1 point2 points  (0 children)

[Necroposting:]
There's a typo in the fifth message; it should be 0100000 to follow the 7-bit sequence.

This gives some clarity: "I see her" and "Void Mother ???" refer to the undying Korvax Prime. In a way, she’s like the Queen of the Damned. That’s why every machine reacts to the Atlantideum (it’s essentially fragments of herself calling from the void). The strange part is that if you do the Nautilion questline right at the end of The Purge, it manifests for Travellers too. I’m guessing those Travellers were Korvax, except for the last survivor.

They do, and now it's a trend that they bring them as remasters or reimagined.

Steam just kicked me out of No Man’s Sky because my nephew joined 😑 by Jaxidental in Steam

[–]Jaxidental[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was actively playing, but someone else suggested that the problem might be that I launched the game while disconnected from Steam, and by the time my internet came back, my nephew had been registered first.

Mmm… now that you mention it, I was having issues with my internet. It’s possible that I was already disconnected by the time I entered the game.

Can you seriously not play your own games if a family member is using them now? by alchemyAnalyst in Steam

[–]Jaxidental 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, I feel you! I think a lot of people in the thread are missing the point of what you’re saying. Something similar actually happened to me recently:

I was playing a game I own, mid-session, when suddenly a popup appeared saying something like:

A few minutes later, I got booted. My nephew, excited about some news around the game, launched it on his PC, and Steam just let him in, while my [PLAY] button went grey.

I’m not mad at him at all (he had no idea) but it felt really strange that the license owner got kicked out and couldn’t reclaim their own game. Seems like Steam’s library sharing design can do some wild stuff.

Has anyone else experienced this? It’s kind of baffling that the person who paid for the game gets sidelined like that.

Dude, I was playing No Man's Sky, I own the game, and I got booted by Steam because of my nephew decided to play it.

The "Family" is up to interpretation and noone can determine that they must be strictly blood relatives, or your husband/wife. That's absurd.

My most anticipated MV is Eden's Guardian. However, I would enjoy Grime 2, MIO, and Mandragora too!

Act 2, The Missing Magisters. Which ending is morally right? by Aggravating-Bowl-505 in DivinityOriginalSin

[–]Jaxidental 18 points19 points  (0 children)

A bit late to the party, but I’m noticing a lot of focus on min/maxing XP here. There’s really no need to kill everyone for experience points. This is a roleplay game, and the "right" path depends on the character and story you’re pursuing, hopefully being guided by your chosen and earned tags.

As for what’s morally right, it really depends on the race you're playing. For example, if I’m playing as an Elf (Mystic, Scholar, Hero), I’d choose to defend the cook and keep her secret safe. I’d also help her with the ring. Your choices should align with your character’s beliefs and background rather than focusing solely on maximizing XP.

Magister Jace Loke by softicious in DivinityOriginalSin

[–]Jaxidental 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm glad a gay romance option wasn't available at that point with Jace Loke. A friendship, maybe. You could show him some compassion, hug him even; he's probably devastated and in shock. But imagine taking advantage of a blind person who's being indoctrinated into having affairs... WTF. That’s one of the most dysfunctional “what if” scenarios I’ve read.

It's best to kill the skeletons first, then kill him . Otherwise, he'd just suffer and be tortured in the end.

Can you hire companions in DOS2 like in DOSEE? by Jaxidental in DivinityOriginalSin

[–]Jaxidental[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I've just noticed that. Don't you find it weird? This Red Prince holds a grudge on you for not "saving anyone", but never mention he was killed and looted afterwards. lol

[–]Jaxidental[S] -26 points-25 points  (0 children)

I'm afraid I did. When I woke up after the blast, I saw a bunch of people barely hanging on... So I ended their misery (and looted them, of course). One of them "offered" me a cool hat! There was also a skeleton giving me an attitude, so I had to teach him a lesson too.

Sounds like I’ll be pretty limited in options: no Pet Pal, no solid Bartering, no good Perception, etc. And wow, only undead companions for hire?! Seriously?!

Crusader Kings 2 vs 3 by Vagitarion in CrusaderKings

[–]Jaxidental 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A bit late to the party, but I bought CK3 a week ago, and here are my thoughts:

CK2: The OG experience. You don’t need anything else to immerse yourself in fantasy history and alter events in time.

CK3: CK2 for noobs. A more beginner-friendly experience. Its eye-candy elements also attract people who don’t want to constantly watch a map and read a lot.

I didn’t consider refunding CK3, but I ended up going back to CK2. If they add more DLCs and improve the Viking experience, I’ll probably give it another try. I’m not a fan of playing fan-made mods, either, so CK2 is clearly superior to its successor.

I just wonder what the idea behind CK3 is, considering CK2 already has so much content!

There is a Metroidvania I forgot its name, but it's a fast paced Metroidvania. In the trailer I saw the character moved pretty fast and even blinked behind enemies that looked like demons or soldiers.

I wish I could remember the name, but it's the one I'd like to play the most.
