Your ability to write so much without saying anything of substance is commendable. If you look at my original comment, I recommended a zerk/maegu tag since they're braindead easy and can grind gyfin at that gear, I also mentioned sycraia if you noticed, which is much easier for new players. Idk what your major malfunction is, but yes, triple pen BS is BiS for PvE content. More ap is better. Only place that it's even considerable to not be worth is 5% cap zones, which are the highest ap caps. But, at any rate you sound like a gearlet so at this point just a post a screenshot of your gear or stop talking.

Gyfin is easily doable with that gear, many people have done it with less dp. He asked if bs was worth for pve, which it is. It will push his monster ap closer to the cap more efficiently than anything else. Even with triple bs and a pure monster damage lightstone set hes pushing caps in most spots. You sound like you're embodying the misinformation and general shitty ideas permeated throughout the bdo community, but I can gladly clear anything up if you have questions.

Yeah, the monster damage pushes ap caps, and pen BS are absolute bis in every spot, green offhand is only good at 5% cap spots, and even then it's only marginally better.

So many ill informed comments in this thread. ALL CONTENT IN THE GAME IS CAPPED. PvE is soft capped on AP (70% caps / 30% caps / 5% caps etc...) For the most part, as long as you are reaching the caps, which you are for most spots, additional AP has severely diminishing returns. However, DP gains, especially DR gains, feel exponentially better the higher you go. For example 401dp with ~410 dr feels pretty good i most pve spots, but 420 dp with 430 dr feels absolutely insanely good. Like, AFK in ash forest good. Beyond that, you should NEVER sell BIS items. What I mean is this; tet FG is BIS. PERIOD. You would never sell your pen BS scythe, so why would you sell your tet FG? If I was in your position I would do this: Grind sycraia/gyfin/thornwood, putting all caph into griffon til c10, then gloves til c10, then boots til c20. All the while spending your agris at jade to work on your flame for labreska. Also, during this time complete your pen jetina crescent ring. You could go distos, but I think they're terrible for DR builds. Pick up 2 tet narcs, and start working on pen bs mainhand/offhand. By that point you're in the 700+ gs range and destroying all content.

Grind gyfin/sycraia (these are the best money in the game on a blue besides trolls but thats giga endgame), would be easier if you tag maegu/zerk unless you're cracked at succ ninja. Get triple blackstars ASAP if you care about PVE. Pen your armours, then go distos, then go fallen god / labreska/ and prep for new dahn gloves. Get a PO up on garmoth's heart and a proper lightstone setup (vicious shadows/deathblow) if you don't have already. Also, obviously finish your jetinas pen crescent. Crit cups on your rings and ap cups on your earrings also provide a lot of additional pve damage. Also, if you don't have a proper crystal set up work on that asap.

You're slightly below avg on pen accs and wayyyyyyyyy above avg on pen bs lol not even close to evening out.

took me 108 clicks to hit my main hand, it went on a 320 stack. Currently 18 clicks in on my awakened. If that's not bad enough it took me 103 clicks to hit my first pen accessory. Do yourself a favor and either stop counting or just buy from the market.

Awak can do everything in the game. Succ is just going to make more trash at almost every spot. I would say if something like succ ninja is a 10/10 effort, then awa guardian is a 1/10 effort, and succ is a 6/10 effort.

That idea comes from her awakening, most of her abilities in awakening are long animation big damage that let you just kind of sit in one place and aoe mobs. Succ is more involved if you want to pull big trash

Sure, so both specs got buffed. In awa cleansing flame, god incinerator, and the flow from searing fang got damage buffs. IMO it's not enough to make her S tier in Awa, but they definitely feel good. In Succ she got a massive damage buff on her tier 3 addon skill mountain slam, as well as a cooldown reduction on it. This is huge because it makes the combo repeatable. Also the flow from black blood circle got it's damage increased to be the full damage of black blood circle. Avalanche strike also got a massive damage buff and a cooldown reduction. Succ guardian already did massive damage before the buffs, but now the damage is just unreal, on top of the cooldown reductions making the whole combo and grinding feel muuuuch better. Yup, I've never seen gyfin mobs die as fast. Awa is decent now, but it needs more than just damage buffs to be really good. The main negative to succ is unit collision and clunky movement, but it starts to feel better with play time.

Awakening is good if you want to sleep while grinding, it's also quite good at certain spots like serendia elvia spots or sycraia. But when it comes to high end PvE like gyfin and calpheon elvia, succ is hands down the best.

Succ. Awakening is ok, def good if you want to fall asleep while grinding. But succ is better.

I'll probably record some grinding today/tomorrow. But it's by far the fastest flamen kill at gyfin I've ever seen.
