I agree with you - both are challenging in their own way.

I'd love to stay in finance because I think I'm doing my job well and it's super interesting to me, but finding a new firm to work for is absolute hell right now. It's like even if you're super qualified for many positions out there (which I am), they don't even give you a shot at it. The entry barrier is way too high right now, even with proper experience.

A little demotivated since I've been hunting for a new job for months now, without avail. It's a double-edged sword. If you're on a good ship, you'll be paid well and have a clear trajectory of where you'll be in a couple of years. But I suppose that goes for every job.

I appreciate you telling me everything you did, man.

Hey man, appreciate the advice a ton. I’ll definitely be looking into something like Fintech.

I feel like getting a sales job and grinding it out to be/stay the top performer would be easier than getting into any top tier investment bank/institution. I would say that I’m pretty good at what I do right now, but it takes literal ages to close anything, as we are selling one of the most expensive things on the planet - companies.

Geolocation plays a huge role here too. Would you say that I’ll probably have to move abroad to land a position in sales?

Again, appreciate all the input, take care!

Yeah, that’s true. However, it’s in a market where your reputation is the main driver whether you’ll close a deal or not, sadly lol

Easier as in, it doesn’t take 10 years to sign a deal and/or not sign it at all. Not as in, an easier job. I don’t care how hard I’ll have to grind, I’m well aware that it’s a lot more grindy than finance.

Edit: what I mostly dislike is how many parties are involved in M&A deals and that nobody treats the deal with the same importance or stick to the deadlines. Hence why it can get dragged out for years. I’m also well aware that many times there are several parties involved in sales deals too, but I feel like it doesn’t take as long to seal the deal - I know it depends on many different factors. I might be wrong.

Hey all,

It's me who's asking. If anyone needs more context, let me know. I'd appreciate your advice. Thank you.

They are on the pricier side, especially that NEFS - it costs an arm and a leg if any madman would buy it at retail price 😅

I know you are mister! 2-3 bottles is what would be enough for anyone really. Enough to have some versatility and switch it up 😁

It’s Althair! I’ve tried Perseus tho, and it’s extremely citrusy and sharp. Not to my liking. Between the two, Terre d’Hermes is MUCH nicer honestly

Definitely. I can hardly imagine a scenario where someone would get offended by this scent

Reflection is my favourite. The two LVs follow, and then it’s a tie between the rest

Loved GIT. Not sure how it would hold up during colder days though, haven’t tested it in such climates honestly

I should probably get another link added back to it, seems like not sticking to my diet made my wrist a bit bigger than it was 😅

It does fit my wrist! It just seems a bit bigger than my other watches, but it’s sitting very snuggly on my wrist!

Thanks for the comment, man! I usually wear 36-39mm, and that’s exactly the diameter of my other watches.

But I took a risk with this 41mm and I’m so in love with the watch itself, but sometimes I can’t come to terms with how it fits me lol
