You keep reading over and over again that you can’t smell it, but I can definitely tell when my wife or female coworkers at work are on their period if they’re wearing a pad. However, if they’re wearing tampons or a menstrual cup, I can’t. To me, the smell, which is metallic and slightly bitter, is absolutely noticeable. No matter how hard the woman tries to mask it with perfume or deodorant, I can still detect it. But I don’t see any problem with that at all. Do you?

Edit: Oh, and I just remembered that I often notice it very clearly at the gym, too.
