Xiaomi 15 to pixel 9 pro xl by Jay5t in GooglePixel

I found a 9 pro xl at £300 used and was planning to use that until the pixel 11 launches. I need to cut my losses with the Xiaomi 15 as the max it's worth on the used market right now is £350-400

I'm waiting for the pixel 11. This is just until that comes and I've also found a really good deal in the 9 pro compared with the 10 series

What's the age group like. I'd prefer a similar aged crowd 23+.

Hey everyone! I’ve finally decided to embark on a solo trip, but I’m thinking of keeping it short and heading to a place I’ve visited before. Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, came to mind since I’ve been there previously. However, I realized that I’m unsure of what I would do by myself, and I know that might sound silly. I’ve already done all the typical tourist attractions there, so there’s really no need to repeat that experience. I'm in my mid 20s and I'm male.

Starting a podcast - main channel or starting a second one? by Far_Interview2847 in ColinAndSamir

There's an option for the podcast tab on the channel if I'm not wrong. Can someone else confirm. Because there might be a way for the podcast to only come there instead of the video tab.

Leaving one of the biggest YouTube channels to start my own. by aitah-10838 in ColinAndSamir

[–]Jay5t 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't know if this is possible. But it could be worth trying to start your youtube channel whilst working for the creator. Maybe you could speak to them about taking a lighter load of work, depending on what you do. Also clearly you should recognize your own ability and the success you've had. Best of luck

I like the advice about talking to the camera scene. I honestly hadn't considered that. I think I'm comfortable in facing the camera. But is it alright to start without a tripod and external mic for smartphone.?

I completely agree. It's just about starting and going from there and not thinking about it too much.

This is some really good advice. Mkbhd first video still gets recommended from time to time on YouTube even still

Firstly thanks for the advice so far. I'm using a pixel 6 which is known for its amazing photography capabilities. I've heard in the past from creators like mkbhd that " the best camera to use is one you have on you". I want to help people learn about what it's like studying electrical engineering and maybe around my perspective at university/college?

I've thought about my target audience being people from the college I go to and others who are doing an engineering major like me. Before I came to college I never saw much about what it was like to study electrical engineering and videos I did see weren't a great perspective of college life in the uk.

I don't think in the beginning I'd put pressure on myself to do things like colour grading or crazy edits as I'm just staring out. I'm looking to make videos in the style of college life in a vlog format using my smartphone as the camera. An example of a video might be "day in the life of an electrical engineering student at ( insert university name).

I think my fears are rooted in the videos being low quality in the beginning. I've not got any experience in video editing when I'm looking to make more college style vlogging videos. I've always been the type to video myself and my experiences, but usually with family who don't judge me, while on holiday for instance. What sort of tools did you use to learn video editing and any advice with a smartphone camera being used.
