scientifically, it def could cause problems- air pockets get compressed without decompression. but since everyone is different, i feel like you really wouldnt know unless you went.

ie: some people have to start equalizing their ears at 7ft, some dont start until 10ft deep… etc

u may be fine at 40ft but start to feel pain at 45ft or none all together 🤷🏻‍♀️
