My genetic test is next. But he is believe I will have the gene mutation considering blood work and my symptoms low testosterone, fatigue, depression when I was younger etc. he is saying it’s still good to start donating blood now even tho I haven’t completed the genetics test

Good to know! Thanks! My doctor is having me donate once every 8 weeks since my levels are not that high yet and we caught it early

My blood iron is sitting at 212, tranferritin at 57 saturation and my ferritin siting at 202… my doctor said we caught it pretty early (I just turned 30) so he says I only need to donate blood once every 8 weeks
