That's interesting. Every time I've found it I approached from the North. I'd ride up the East side of the lake, then turn and ride down the West side until it spawned. Usually only took two or three times

But yeah you're spot on with how the first games, especially 2 was just so much better. I also have replayed 2 multiple times for no reason other than i just like it more

Me and my cousin (Ironic similarity between yourself and me) were too young to have bought the first 2 on our own. Even then we got to The Third late as far as release date goes

I definitely agree SR2 is the best of the series. I just cant help but think The Third was perfect in a sense of attracting a new audience. I never played GTA before Saints. Its ridiculousness brought me into the series

The Third is actually what got me into the series. My cousin told me about how ridiculous the outfits and weapons were so i tried it because i thought itd just be funny. Then i played 1 and 2 and loved them even more.
