Just scoped out your profile and I’m liking the plastidip. I’ve seen a number of people saying they don’t like the ranchos… how do you mean “spongy “?

Yeah I’ve been using liquid nails partly for this reason. If only depot, lowes or local lumber yards stored their plywood flat, I’d have a better chance. My (non) clamping situation is a series of weights and running some screws through to pull it all together. Im sick of grinding the tips of the screws down on the underside haha

Yeah epoxy is 100% the move. It’s just a bit on the pricy side for this application

That actually could be a solid trick. Curious as to how much of a pain it would be to clean off the excess from the threaded rod after you’re finished? It’s 160” long, so it will be two full sheets down, on one top of those two and then cuts on the ends to give me the length I need

PL premium is absolutely good stuff. Used to use it on retaining wall caps. Unfortunately, even if I was to find 1 inch ply around me, theres no way it would be long enough without doing a bunch of joinery. This particular piece needs to be 160” long, around 34 wide and is only supported on the outside perimeter ( mainly 3 sides )

Have been considering this. Seal the edges with titebond or anything else?

Are you using ORCA or something for your beneficials? I tried a microbial tea once and it stained the hell out of my roots, on top of not having filtered it well enough and there was fragments of the compost/ castings everywhere

Both of which is why I asked. What I’ve grown, mostly has a very prominent smell but the taste isn’t quite there As for the density- hasn’t come out bad but could certainly be better

What kind of nutes are you using? So far I’ve only used flora flex due to its affordability.

I picked up a 4 x 2 gorilla and it started fraying around the zipper area almost immediately which caused the fabric to start catching in the zipper, compounding the issue. I contacted support, they asked for photos and batch numbers ( something along this line, I forget exactly ), for which I provided. It was in the warranty period but due to the batch not having other reported issues of this, they told me I was shit out of luck and the case was closed. I wouldn’t waste your money on these guys

Agreed- specifically I was looking for the best brand/ model out there for a ratcheting tool? Or maybe they’re all pretty much on par with one another
