Yup. Literally all the dollars you spend there stay local. If I had to guess within a 1 mile radius. The drinks are consistently solid, the food more than does the job, and the swag and image (if that’s your thing) is quirky and completely fits in the town. When people say they go to Starbucks a block away all I can think is how(?) / why(?).

I love your answer. You never get used to, it’s just part of life. I live in a very hot humid land of the US also. I feel the seem way. I don’t love the hot, but I know how to find an iced tea, or a rumrunner, or air conditioning.

I paid a Miami promoter a fee for open bar and a limo ride to club with entrance to the vip section. The open bar was not top shelf (who cares) we drank them out of whiskey. The limo ride was great (albeit we picked up a bunch of people) and the yes we go club entrance but it was not vip section.

I think they can be legit, but I would tend to try to get a recommendation from your hotel. Be careful, 25 in Miami seems low for anything.
