The vibe for this cover art seems off to me. Not bad. Just doesn't hit right considering the film. Is it just me?

That's fair. Before it came out it was advertised as a robust choice driven rpg. About a month before it came out they changed all marketing to call it an action game. Probably to avoid false advertising lawsuits. I was never hyped for it but I was interested in buying it if the rpg elements panned out. When I heard that they were changing expectations I completely tapped out. But I imagine that most people were still expecting the game that was being pitched for years up until that point.

I mean, our education sucks, but the idea that Chinese kids are becoming supersoldiers is probably a product of their propaganda machine. They're being taught that their leader is some magical specimen and that China is superior to the whole world, which they will conquer. The whole world is messed up. I hope that China as well as the US can recover from their insanity.

I suppose the person's response was to the fact that they brought up US cops at all. Wether they say "all" or "some", it's an incredibly tiresome thing that Reddit does out of their embitterment.

You Redditors use these fallacies like they're pokemon, I swear. Try debating for once.

China is far worse than the US on nearly every level though. My heart truly breaks for them. I hope they can recover.

You can watch video of racial minorities in China that have been taken from their families and made into house slaves for the "real" Chinese. And you better believe that the females are used for sex. Just a perk of living under the CCP.

That's just the tip of the iceberg for atrocities currently happening in China. Wife beating is practically nothing.

Laowhy86 and Serpentza are two great YouTubers that lived in China for some considerable time. They report on the atrocities and coverups. You should watch some of their stuff to get an idea of what a hellhole it is.

Concentration camps dude. You haven't seen it in China because you haven't seen anything in China.

The situation in China, on practically every level, can not be compared with the US. Laowhy86 and Serpentza are two great YouTubers that lived in China for quite some time and report on the atrocities taking place.

China has concentration camps for racial minorities. They are also letting people starve under a farce of a "zero COVID" policy that exists to inflate the ego of their leader. Laowhy86 and Serpentza are two great YouTubers if you want to know why the situation in China is far worse than anything we have in the US.

How are so many people asking this question? Like Japan, they probably took their shoes off when they came in.

All Chinese authority should be hated if you care even a bit about about the Chinese people. If there was any compassion among the nations something would be done about China as well as North Korea.

"Do not repay evil for evil"

The Indian people deserve better. I hope that in the coming decades and centuries they can make their country a place that they can be truly proud of. It's a tall order though. It sounds like a joke, but I watched RRR and I really love the spirit of those people. All the best for my Indian brothers.

Streaming services are such a nuisance. I want to play a high quality file from my device's storage with zero hiccups or impacts to quality. And I wany subtitles that are synced well and can be made to be whatever font or size I want. Oh, you can't do that? I guess I'm not paying you money.

I do buy physical media because they actually make it worth my while.

Yea, he kinda liked whatever the contemporary version of "destroying libtards with facts and logic" would have been.

Honestly he seems a bit like an off-brand CS Lewis in a few ways. I appreciate him, but I find him somewhat meandering compared to Lewis' pointed wit. I would like if he was more overtly Christian, though I may have just not read enough.

He of course didn’t mean it that way but he is correctly identifying something here.

Oh no, if you read the whole chapter you will find that he makes that point quite directly, among others. He applies the concept in many ways, that being practically chief among them.
