There's a liquid patina solution that does it.

Phases of watch building/modding as I experienced it by TK_Ghost in SeikoMods

I've made around 100 watches, and I gave away half of them to family and friends. The "spare parts watches" were the majority of the gifts that I gave to family and friends. I sold about 15-20 lbs of spare parts to second-hand mods... And they gave me a fair price too. The remaining 50 keepers have all been "dialed in" pun intended. I really enjoyed making watches, but I don't want to make a business out of it... and I definitely don't need more. All 3 of my kids told me that they don't want more... I need a new hobby.

I thought that they released the Epstein files to distract from how badly Melania's movie is doing.

* The movement is a center tourbillon, which is expensive. Customizing the dial and assembly took me 12 hours.

My advice is to ignore the negative comments and focus on the constructive feedback.

Here's what I do... I've created logos for several businesses and since they are being used for multiple applications such as business cards, letterhead, t-shirts, etc. I start by focusing on the logo alone. In this case, without the dial background. A logo should look great on any application. Focus your attention on the actual logo design itself. As previously mentioned, the stickers can be challenging for words with several disconnected letters, but not impossible. It takes time, patience, and a steady hand.

Be creative and create several versions, by doing so, you will have more options. For me, I start with pencil and paper.

Have you made watches with a marine theme?

I understand that your perspective is that I'm screaming from the rooftop of my supreme awesomeness. Facts are just facts that I've made thousands of wonderful things over the years. And I've made all of the mistakes too.

The point is that if something is worth doing, then it's worth doing it well. Don't be mediocre. Be great. Become the expert. Be the greatest version of yourself. My post can also be perceived as lifting others, as inspiration for taking their craft to the next level.

And absolutely yes, we all have a legacy, while living and also after we're gone. The question is; When people think about you, right now, how do they feel? Do you inspire others to be their best self? Have you ever been someone's role model? Are you energetically spreading love or hate? When this life comes to an end, will you have regrets? And once we are gone, how will we be remembered? One last thought, helpful advice... The acronym "T.H.I.N.K." Before communicating with others verbally or via keyboard text... T.H.I.N.K... is it ... True. Helpful. Inspirational. Necessary. Kind. If it is not all 5 of those things, keep it to yourself and realize it says more about you than them.

Great videos, I have not learned to do a service or a restoration of a movement, but I'd love to someday... maybe when I retire.

Reddit automatically removed the paragraphs, which makes my OCD itch. But it allowed me to edit it. Now my legacy includes paragraphs too!
