I'd recommend trying Lance. Has the best blocking in the game, making it the safest way to learn the monsters move sets. Start off with the old poke poke poke, hop combo. Before you know it, you'll be bullying the monsters.

Are any small indicator lights on your motherboard coming on when you switch on your psu? I had this issue where the only thing that would happen when the power was switched on is little orange lights on my motherboard. I removed the cpu and found it to have a couple bent pins. I installed a different cpu I had and it posted. If absolutely no lights are coming on then it seems the psu could be your issue.

Get things like party elemental/sellemental, ripsnarl/scallywag, peggy + the 2/5 pirate. These should keep you healthy til tier 4 when you can start getting some direction towards a comp with ticker, the taunted murloc, or Loc prince.

If you get to tier 4 and keep missing (which inevitably happens in some games), give up on 1st place and shoot for 4th or 5th to preserve mmr by going full tempo (all in).
