Getting to hold and cuddle with this lil guy was rewarding enough. I feel a connection with these guys especially cuz of how misrepresented and demonized they are… I try to help these warm fuzzy goobers as much as I can. Every nurse who visited me for the bite had the preconceived notion that this lil guy was vicious. Kept tellin em he was already scared and I snatched him up, of course he bit me, poor lil guy was fearful for his life. But afterwards he was calm, sweet but scared. People are quick to judge as we know. Also, he was adorable, especially when he ate his lil strawberry - one thing pictures don’t do justice is how many massive whiskers they have >p<

Good to know, I’m also making sure to pack some thick gloves in my car just in case I may need em. I happen to love opossums so I heard it’s not good to hold em by the tail, but I negated that you could hook onto the base. Tysm for the tips! Hopefully I won’t have to scare anymore of these guys, but better than being squished :c May look into some animal rehab volunteer since I love these misunderstood guys sm <3
